Facebook is the social networking giant. With half the universe on it, it is home to half a million applications. Most of these applications require you to disclose your email address to them before you can access them on facebook.
For example, if you are planning to play games like Cityville, Farmville or trying to use popular apps like Friend For Life, etc than you will be asked to share your email address with application developer.
If you want to avoid sharing your email address with the apps developer and still want to use the Facebook application, you just click on “Change” under “Send me email”. Facebook will assign you an anonymous, new and unique email address. You can share this new email address with the developers.
This email address just acts as a proxy, all the mails sent to this mail address will be automatically directed to your original inbox. Shan Ali

Thanks. It was very interesting
Sometimes facebook permission page does not give the change option. In that case you can navigate to the app page and then invoke the app from there which will show the change option again. See this-
How to hide your email id from facebook apps fully
It pleases me as far as others get help from my blog.... if u like it then u can subscribe it...
@girish...i never came across such situation where option was not available. According to me one should use as little apps as possible to keep their fb account safe.
i have also used some fb apps in my account, but now decided to deleted them as i feel they are of no use.
it depends.....some use fb for fun others for business purpose....
Gonna try this one. Showing your email address to the public really take a lot of risk. Thanks!
