How to Make Images SEO Friendly on Blogger

Images play a very important part in Search Engine Optimization. Bots cannot understand the images they understand its title. A page full of images is considered a null page if the images are not SEO optimized. Making your images search engine friendly is pretty simple. It does not need much effort and it results in better page rank.   By optimizing your images you will get better page rank and you can drive more traffic to your blog and in turn earn more money.


In this article I will tell you a simple trick by which you can optimize your images to make them search engine friendly. By optimizing your images you will get better page rank and you can drive more traffic to your blog and in turn earn more money. So putting a minute effort is worth.

The simple method is described below. Just the follow the steps..

1) Suitable Image Name

The foremost job is to give a proper name to your images. The names should be related to the articles in which these images are to be displayed. If the name of your image is more than 1 word than add a hyphen or plus sign in between.
For example, if your image name is Satisfying Reviews than make it Satisfying+Reviews or Satisfying-Reviews. Don’t leave any blank spaces in between the words.

Once you have uploaded your images got to post editor’s html view and you can see the link of image that you posted. Now you have to follow the two steps given below..

2) Add Title Tags

When the mouse is hovered over the images, a text appears. This tag is displayed using title tags.

The line in bold is what you have to add.

3) Add Alt Tags

The Alternate Tags are displayed in conditions when the connection is slow and images don’t load up. So in place of images these tags are displayed.
